"Facing the Giants"

This year's Youth Camp was at Pleasant Valley Ranch in Ohio.  The theme of the week (developed by Pastor Gresham) was "Facing the Giants", and our guest preacher was Evangelist Mike Payton.  Chapel services were conducted by Assistant Pastor Brian Hargis and Bro. Steve Setty.  Some of the activities included swimming, shooting range, snack shack, game room, volleyball, basketball, and dodge ball. 

Throughout the week, campers would write down the "giants" that they faced and put them in the piñata football.  At the Campfire Service, Pastor Gresham put the football in the fire where the giants were burned and forever forgotten.  A few of the campers trusted Christ as their Savior, and numerous campers gave their giants over to the Lord and developed a deeper relationship with Him.  All the teens willingly signed a commitment form  to keep themselves sexually pure, and Paul and Kevin surrendered to preach the Gospel!
