Youth Camp 2004

August 16-21 at Pleasant Valley Ranch!  The new activity this year was "The BLOB", an air-filled personnel launcher located on the edge of the lake.  The Senior Boys pulled their strength & teamwork together for a "Navy SEAL" activity where they carried a 500 pound log to the lake, and pushed it across the 1/4 mile lake, only to swim back again.  Other activities included the following:

Evangelist Buddy Blunkall preached a series about hitting your target by aiming correctly.  Many teens are pointed in the right direction, but they are not aimed at the target.  Buddy taught how to clear your lanes of obstacles, have good footing and breathing, and how to aim correctly so that you hit exactly what you are pointed at.  When applied spiritually, it makes good sense!
