Prayer Breakfast

This prayer breakfast (November 2007) was primarily for the Lord's continued direction for our church, specifically the purchase of the First Baptist Church of Kettering Building.  There were about 25 present, and the food was great!  Pastor Gresham led the session, and gave a devotional on PRAYER.  Click picture to enlarge...

This was our first prayer breakfast of 2007, and there was over 50 men in attendance!  Many had been fasting for days prior to the event they focused on what God has for the church and the direction He is taking us.  That was the theme of the Prayer Breakfast.  Enjoy!

This was our last Prayer Breakfast of 2006.  There were 25 Men and sons in attendance.  It was Veteran's Day weekend and the theme centered around our armed forces.  After enjoying a hearty breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage, and hash browns, we read Isaiah chapters 53-57.  We had numerous testimonies of praise to God, and ended in prayer.  Here are the pictures...

February 2006 prayer breakfast packed a full house of over 35 men and their sons.  We had a good time of food and fellowship.  The Scripture reading was from Psalms 119.  Pastor Gresham led the devotional, "The importance of Being a Real Man".  Testimonies were given of how Christian men have affected the lives of the men present, especially the real men of Charity Baptist Church.  Go to our Events page to find out when the next Prayer Breakfast is!
